You read that correctly… I have had the flu this past week. And what a flu its been. Not two hours after getting off the plane i start feeling weird. I had an intense headache, and a fever. it lasted through the night and into the next day.
I neglected basically everything and slept it off. I still have a cough today but definitely not enough time to make a full comic today. so…

If you are planning a trip to PV I highly recommend making the trip out to the botanical garden. It was stunning. Thousands of orchids, cactus, and even Vanilla vines.
There’s even a place you can swim! That might have been my favourite part of the experience. Here’s a link if you’d like to learn more.
We discovered an open air market. Saw a lot of really weird trinkets. Some beautiful artwork, and a met a ton of locals.
In my opinion the media was wrong about a lot of things. I didn’t feel in danger at any time throughout the trip, or get ridiculously sick. I did have a day or two of gastric distress but nothing that kept me in our room the entire time.
We had a beautiful trip. I will return and I recommend if you’re thinking of going to Mexico. Visit Puerto Vallarta.
