A lot of you have been asking me to showcase what I created last year, so heres the Artwork of 2020. It took some time so I went back and figured out which pieces I completed between January 1st 2020 and December 31st 2020.
I didn’t include work for commercial use or for business purposes. Yeah I know it’s still artwork but it’s not really mine anymore, you know?
Regardless I was still a little surprised to discover that I created a total of 29 individuals pieces! I thought at most I did twelve.
So without further delay!
The Artwork of 2020
Here’s the pieces I still have in my possession in no particular order.
Lets start with my favourite piece from the year!

One of the largest pieces I finished last year was “GRIS” I’m still searching for the right frame. Otherwise I would have wrote a full blog about this one by now.

The past year certainly gave me the time to experiment with my mediums of choice. I learned how to properly mount paper to wood panels.
It resulted in these two pieces.

After moving I created a lot of work in my new space. A few of them are hanging in my studio space.

Let’s not forget the first half of The Botanical Project was created last year.

Some of the Pieces that Sold
I always encourage anyone who buys some of my work to tag me in a post showing off how it’s being displayed.
Occasionally people do!
I can’t begin to describe how surreal it feels seeing my artwork in someone else’s home or the joy it gives me to see my work up on display.

Commissions Are Open
If by some chance I inspired you to invest in my work. I am always open for commissions both private and commercial.
The best way to get the ball rolling is with an email.
I will always answer my emails within the day. Unless I’m on vacation then it might take a few days.
Enough about my shameless promotion for now.
I am proud of what I accomplished over the past year, and I can’t wait to see what I create this year.
Thank you for coming along on this journey. May the adventures continue in 2021!
Stay Creative,
Justin Erickson
